‘100 Years of Warner Bros.’ Documentary Series Retraces Studio’s Legendary History – Deadline

Discovery by Warner Bros. returns to its past to celebrate a century of entertainment in a new four-part documentary series.

Storyteller Morgan Freeman will guide viewers through “100 years of Warner Bros.”, which offers clips from previous TV shows and movies, along with shots from the directors, actors and executives who created the magic, and commentary from journalists and historians who watched it all unfold.

The four specials trace the story from the studio’s humble founding in the early 1920s to its growth into the multinational entertainment giant of today. The first two segments will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival on May 24 in an official selection of Cannes Classics.

The series will premiere on streamer Max starting Thursday, May 25 with the first two specials, followed by the third and fourth segments on June 1 via Max.
