Jungle Camp 2024 was shown in mini release only on Sunday night. Some scenes fell victim to the shorter running time – they could not be seen on free-to-air TV.

On Sunday night, Jungle Camp was only shown in a mini edition on RTL – like last Sunday. This time the RTL+ servers held up, but some of the show's scenes could not be seen on free TV.

Even the last fan of the jungle camp must understand by now that RTL has acquired the NFL rights. The moderation duo Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) made more than enough effort to repeatedly advertise football matches during the broadcast.

Jungle camp in short version due to NFL on RTL

The NFL playoffs started again on Sunday at 9 p.m., so jungle camp had to make room at 8:55 p.m. Apparently, RTL could not fit all the scenes into the 40-minute broadcast time.

This once again upset many of the show's fans, who took to social media to express their displeasure with the shortened version of the show.

The first big decision in the 2024 Jungle Camp was made on Saturday night: Sarah Kern (56) received too few votes from the viewers and was the first participant to be sent home involuntarily.

Jungle fans will see no reaction to Sarah Kern's departure

What the reactions to the eviction looked like was no longer shown and allowed to air for the next day. But puff cake!

Scenes were also missing from Sunday night's mini-episode. Instead of being shown on RTL's free-to-air TV, the recordings were only shown on RTL+'s jungle talk “The Hour After”.

The show usually runs right after RTL's Jungle Camp, but had to switch to the broadcast streaming service due to the NFL playoffs. EXPRESS.de reveals what was not seen on free TV.

Anya Elsner Devastated: 'Really Crap Feeling'

A satisfied look on Sarah Kern's face, seemingly much more shocked that she's almost out with Anya Elsner, 20. As the designer wondered in surprise what he did wrong to be the first to be voted out by the audience, the model had to be comforted.

“The tears just came out of me. I didn't think I would have been the second choice. It feels really bad. I don't want to go yet,” said Anya Elsner, devastated. Sarah Kern's departure came with much less fanfare.

After a few hugs, he left the jungle camp in silence and deep thought. “I was surprised because I'm the first. I didn't expect it. It's never nice to go out first. “You feel unloved,” the 56-year-old woman gave a brief insight into her feelings.

Then he was gone. By the way, Anya Elsner followed in episode 10 on Sunday night. Would more fans have called him out if his emotional outburst had been shown on free TV beforehand?
