IIn Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, a burglar pushed a stolen safe through the city in a wheelchair. According to the police on Wednesday, the eye-catching night transport was noticed by a witness who was talking to the man at the underpass. The suspect fled, leaving the safe and wheelchair behind.

Officials say a criminal broke into a senior center at night and stole a safe from the office using a wheelchair left in the lobby. After the man fled, the witness called the police, who confiscated two items.

The break-in took place last weekend, on the night of January 21. Police continue to investigate the unknown perpetrator and hope to get more witnesses to the unusual scene.
