Accident between five vehicles injures three in Madeira – Portugal

An accident involving five vehicles, in the Via Expresso tunnel, in the Camacha-Caniço direction, in Madeira, injured three people, two men and one woman. The accident was caused by a frontal collision between two cars, with which the other three vehicles ended up colliding.

The victims are between the ages of 30 and 40 and were transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça, in Funchal.

Firefighters from Santa Cruz and the Red Cross were on site, supported by a total of six vehicles, Civil Protection and the Medium Rapid Intervention Team.
