ACIF rejects “unacceptable interference” by the State with coercive lease

The Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madeira (ACIF-CCIM) leaves several repairs to the measures presented by the Government of the Republic for the Housing sector. The president, Jorge Veiga França, stresses, to Económico Madeira, that the association is in “absolute disagreement” with the coercive lease considering that this measure is an “interference” by the State that is “unacceptable” in current times and in a market economy , reinforcing that interventionism “has limits”, at a time when the new measures for housing, announced by the Republic, last Thursday, were not yet known.
