EA 13-year-old boy who was beaten by a woman and her husband and severely injured as a result was arrested on the Nuremberg playground. Police said on Friday that earlier on Thursday, he had fought with another child for reasons that were initially unclear. The 25-year-old mother of the boy's second child was then shot in the face and upper body. He was held by a so far unknown woman.

It was said that the 13-year-old's two sisters tried to resolve the dispute. The 25-year-old husband's husband then came with two acquaintances and hit the 18-year-old sister in the face. He then threw the 13-year-old to the ground and punched him. Only when the nurse threatened to call the police did the man flee with his wife and friends.

During the subsequent search, a 36-year-old man was temporarily detained. A 13-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he is being treated. An 18-year-old man was slightly injured. Police are currently investigating a suspected case of grievous bodily harm. Witnesses are asked to contact investigators.
