BIBI Shares “Amigos’ Collab With Becky G

Worlds collide on this steamy new collaboration. Tonight (November 17), Latin music superstar Becky G teamed up with the K-Pop sensation BIBI for their new single, “Amigos”.

Although both men each have men in their lives, they just can’t shake off their past lovers. But their old flames know the trick when their friends show up.

“I know we had a good time and you still want more / But if my boyfriend calls, we’re just friends, nothing more,” the ladies sing in Spanish on the song’s chorus, over a punchy and percussive piece.

On the track, the hip-hop influence is evident. BIBI previously spoke about her love of hip-hop in an interview with AllKPop.

“Expressing yourself through lyrics is so real and authentic,” BIBI said. “Since I’m not necessarily naturally musically talented, I didn’t know the difference between boom bap and trap beats until much later. I think the other factors of music followed organically as I grew as an artist.

In the video that accompanies the song, BIBI and Becky embark on a luxury heist. The two visit a lush resort town, where they attract the attention of several men. They are then seen running off with jewelry and piling up money, then driving off in a vintage car.
