Billie Eilish On Not Feeling Like A Woman: Video

Billie Eilish was one of those who showed up at Varietyfrom the Power Of Women event yesterday (November 16), and she had a vulnerable moment on stage which saw her become emotional.

barbie star Ariana Greenblatt opened up about meeting her Eilish and about how she has been a strong role model for young women (as Variety Remarks). Greenblatt’s words moved Eilish, who gave Greenblatt a hug. A sniffling Eilish then got behind the mic and noted, “Ariana… wah.” Oh man, I was crying there, girl. Guys, I’m taking Prednisone. Have you ever taken this? Not for real. I have no voice, Margot [Robbie]the whole week. […] The last time I was there, I threw my phone and broke a mirror, and this time I’m crying.

She added: “It’s really hard being a woman here, guys. It’s hard. […] I never really felt like a woman. I spent a lot of my life feeling out of place as a woman. […] This sounds a little fucked up, but I have a lot of internalized misogyny in me, and I find it comes out in places where I don’t want it to come out. And I have to say, in full transparency, that I feel very grateful to be a woman right now. I feel very proud and very honored to be here.
