The multinational aerospace company Boeing confirmed this Thursday that it has delivered a 787 Dreamliner model aircraft to the German airline Lufthansa, this being the first delivery since they were interrupted at the end of February, due to a problem with a component, according to advances to “Reuters”.

The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed last month that it had stopped deliveries due to an error in analyzing pressure-related data, which it discovered after doing a review.

On Friday, the FAA said the problem had been resolved and approved that Boeing could resume delivery of the 787 model.

In addition to this delivery to Lufthansa, sources reveal that Boeing is expected to deliver another model of the 787 to American Airlines soon.

Also on Tuesday, Boeing announced the sale of 78 Dreamliners to two Saudi airlines, in an agreement priced at US$37 billion, making it the fifth largest commercial order in terms of value, according to the company.
