The story keeps getting better for him Colorado football team.

The Buffaloes improved to 3-0 under coach Deion Sanders after rallying from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to frustrate Colorado State43-35, in double overtime Saturday night in Boulder.

It was a hectic game, typical of a bitter intrastate rivalry, which gained greater intensity after the Rams coach Jay Norvell took a verbal swipe at Sanders earlier in the week about his sunglasses. In fact, tempers simmered in a pre-game fight between the teams in midfield. Buffaloes Two-Way Star Travis Hunter was eliminated from the game after taking a brutal late hit.

In the end, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders engineered a 98-yard drive and subsequent two-point conversion to send the game into overtime. The younger Sanders then connected with tight end Michael Harrison on touchdown passes in both overtime periods as the Buffaloes survived the underdog Rams.

The college football world was apoplectic after Sunday morning’s game. Here’s a sample of the best reactions from social media.
