Abou-Chaker has already managed to get a number of Bushido's former comrades for interviews. One, rapper Saad, has now made serious allegations: Because of a dispute over hookah tobacco Saad was supposed to sell for Bushido, Bushido hired people to threaten him and his family. “You play with people stabbing me,” Saad said to Bushido. By the time of Abou-Chaker's trial, Bushido had already appeared with members of another notorious Arab clan.

Saad had great success with Bushido in the 1990s and has been working with him again since 2020. In the summer of 2023, Bushido described Saad as a “total liar” on a podcast and accused him of “totally ripping off” a hookah tobacco deal. Because of Saad, he lost 120,000 euros.

Saad denied these claims, as if Bushido had taken care of the tobacco business as agreed. For him, it was “bottom drawer” that the Berlin rapper had threatened him because of a tobacco dispute – after all, Bushido himself had complained for years that he was being threatened by a criminal clan. He himself took the threats seriously because he has a family and they came from people who should be taken seriously. He recorded the threatening calls and left them with his lawyer in case something happened to him. Bushido has not yet responded to an inquiry on this topic.
