Diddy Is The Subject Of Sexual Assault Investigation By NYPD

Following news from Cassandra Ventura, also known as a singer Cassie, file a complaint against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging rape and physical violence, new developments have emerged around the producer and rapper. According to TMZDiddy is currently the subject of an undercover NYPD investigation.

It’s unclear if this alleged investigation concerns Cassie, however, the publication reports that there is strong evidence that the complaint that led to the investigation involves sexual assault.

According to TMZ, the publication was informed by law enforcement that there was an open case at the NYPD with the name “Sean Combs” and that this case was an active case. However, the file would be locked, “which essentially means it is a sensitive matter with restricted access.”

The NYPD released a statement to TMZstating: “The NYPD takes cases of sexual assault and rape extremely seriously and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so that we can thoroughly investigate and provide support and services to survivors . »

Based on the statement, TMZ believes authorities may be speaking with more than one alleged victim.

The publication also examined law enforcement in other jurisdictions, including Miami, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, but found that no police reports had been filed regarding Cassie or Diddy, and that no other investigation had not been opened.
