Drake”s ‘Scary Hours 3’: Release Date, Trailer Video

On October 6, Duck released For all dogs, his eighth album. He could have easily taken the rest of 2023 to relax and plan for 2024. Instead, he’s ending the year on a different note: early this morning (November 16), Duck shared a trailer for Scary Hours 3scheduled for release tomorrow at midnight, November 17.

In a video titled “Scary Hours 3, Tonight at Midnight,” there is nighttime footage of a city before Drake enters a theater and watches an orchestra play. At the end of the clip, a program brochure is displayed, which indicates that Scary Hours 3 is produced by Noel Cadastre, Drake and Kevin Durant.

In voiceover, Drake says:

“I’ll tell you this: I’m not…I don’t feel the need to appease anyone. I feel so confident in all of the work I’ve just given up that I know I could disappear for, whatever, six months, a year, two years – even if I’m not really interested. [laughs] I don’t really like really long disappearances for the sake of mystery, but… you know, ultimately it comes to me in a way that maybe I haven’t experienced since, like, If you read this, where it’s a bit like I feel like I’m on drugs. I feel like I’m in this mental state doing nothing. I made these songs over the last five days. I didn’t have a single bar written for those songs that night. For all dogs abandoned. It’s not like I’m re-doing unfinished shit, you know, it’s just… it happens on its own. And, you know, who am I to fight it, right? And fighting the right thing would be… you know.
