Eminem Teased Involvment In Fortnite Finale Event

It’s been a minute since Eminem has released some new music – but the Detroit rapper has had some pretty eventful weeks. Earlier this month, he made his Mom’s Spaghetti Sauce available for purchase from online retailers, just two years after opening the store of the same name in its hometown. Today (November 21), the ‘Lose Yourself’ hitmaker announced that he would be branching out into the video game business.

In a teaser shared on Em’s Instagram account, the rapper discussed his involvement in the upcoming film. Fortnite final event. The music video shows an old-fashioned television screen with the Fortnite logo flashing, then Eminem’s signature “E” logo upside down.

The caption of the post reads “calling all grandmothers 12.2”. alluding to lyrics from “Tone Deaf,” a song from his 2020 album, Music to murder.

A snippet of the song is played in the music video, specifically a line in which Em raps “I can rhyme ‘orange’ with ‘banana’ /
Ornana / Eating pork rinds, sword fighting in your pajamas / In the crib, playing Fortnite with your grandmother.

Although neither Fortnite nor Eminem have revealed the rapper’s ability to be involved in the final events of December 2, some leaks (per Forbes) showed that Eminem skins would be available to players of the game.
