In fact, comedian Oliver Pocher's visit to Vienna was supposed to revolve around an opera ball, waltz sounds and famous guests. But just before the social event, the doctor had to call the comedian.

Oliver Pocher had to seek medical help in Vienna just before participating in the most important social event of the year. Apparently in order to get fit enough for the Vienna Opera Ball on Thursday night (February 8), he was given medication, as Austria's “Kronen-Zeitung” reported and even documented in a short video.

When Pocher arrived in Vienna, he was already in poor health. In an Instagram story from the airport, her voice broke. He was also sick last week when he visited ex-husband Sandy Meyer-Wölden and their children at their adopted home in Miami, as he said on his podcast “The Pochers! “Freshly Recycled” was revealed. In Vienna, a 41-year-old man needed medical attention just before the start of the opera ball: Pocher had the doctor give him an injection.

Although his health was not the best, the comedian was still in a good mood in this situation. That's how he made fun of the doctor with his jokes in front of the camera: “The mask sometimes on, sometimes off. “You've got this FFP2 system all figured out,” he joked. “I really like it (…) I think that's how it works here.” Even when the doctor asked for documentation of the treatment, Pocher joked that it's always better — even in the case of a potential lawsuit.

Pocher was given the drug Novalgin by injection. “You see you sleep well in the afternoon,” said the doctor. “Thanks, that's nice,” laughed Pocher. He didn't have much time to rest. Finally, he also had to prepare for the social event of the year in Austria. Together with her ex-husband Sandy Meyer-Wölden, Pocher is a guest at the booth of entrepreneur Markus Deussl. There he also meets singer Heino (85), for whom this is the first performance at a major event after the death of his wife Hannelore exactly three months ago, as well as Italian actor Franco Nero (82).

Pocher announced the start of her treatment on her Instagram page and wrote: “Fit for the opera ball and much more important for The Voice of Las Vegas tomorrow!” The day after his opera ball adventure, Friday (February 9) is another highlight for Pocher: he will perform in Las Vegas in his current stage show, “Der Liebeskasper.”

About 5,000 guests were expected to attend the opera ball in Vienna on Thursday evening. Austrian entrepreneur and construction genius Richard Lugner (91) is accompanied this year by American actress Priscilla Presley (78).
