There is no evidence that this occurred. The company that owns the space denied the claim.

Social media users have claimed to have shown a pro-Ukrainian ad changed to a pro-Israel ad. One user wrote: “‘#Ukraine“Step aside”: an ad for aid to Israel appeared in #NY. Huge banners spread a video in which the inscription “Let’s support Israel” apparently replaces the already boring “#SupportUkraine. This is the hypocrisy of #America.”

This statement, however, is false. If there had been such an event, the media would have covered it, but none have. In fact, other media have discredited The claim.

“Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel Outdoors, which manages the space, told Reuters that the ad seen in the video is fake,” Reuters reported.

BBC Verify journalist Shayan Sardarizadeh also discredited the claim about X.
