A 38-year-old fisherman fell into a ravine at Praia do Inferno, in Sesimbra, this afternoon, and suffered serious injuries to his abdomen.
The victim was removed by helicopter and transported to the hospital.
There were more than a dozen operatives on site, including the Maritime Police, the Sesimbra Volunteer Firefighters and the Sesimbra Lifeguard Station. The alert was given at 15:37.
