Kicker Matt Araiza, who lost his job in the NFL after being implicated in an alleged gang rape, was not present when the alleged incident occurred, Yahoo reported.

The outlet reviewed a more than 200-page transcript that reports what prosecutors in San Diego told the young woman and her lawyers about why no charges were filed.

The woman told the police that Araiza and two teammates at San Diego State were at a party on Oct. 15, 2021, when Araiza escorted her to a room where “at least three other men” were waiting for her, according to a civil lawsuit she filed. She then her, 17 years old, she said Araiza threw her on the bed and was part of a gang rape over a period of 90 minutes.

In his lawsuit, he acknowledged that he had been drinking and said he was “unconscious and unconscious” during the alleged assault.

San Diego police investigated their claims for nearly 10 months before turning the case over to the district attorney without recommending prosecution.

He buffalo bills he selected Araiza with the first pick of the sixth round of the 2022 draft. A prolific punt in college, he earned the starting job in the preseason, during which he sent a punt flying 82 yards in one game.

Shortly after the allegations surfaced, the Bills released the 22-year-old Araiza. No team signed it, even after prosecutors announced on December 7 that they would not press charges.

Few details emerged about his decision until Monday. The most important conclusion of the Yahoo report was that the investigation carried out by prosecutors determined that Araiza left the premises approximately an hour before the alleged assault.

“I wasn’t even at the party anymore,” Assistant District Attorney Trisha Amador explained to the alleged victim, according to the Yahoo report. Amador later said: “All I know is that at that time, the suspect Araiza is no longer at the party.”

Additionally, prosecutors told the young woman that they had reviewed video recordings of the alleged incident and were unable to determine that anything other than consensual sex had occurred with the other men in the room.

The accuser’s attorney, Dan Gilleon, told Fox News Digital that he intends to move forward with the civil suit and that his client will not be “harassed.”

“This case will go to trial and we will force Araiza to speak,” Gilleon told Fox.

Some witnesses in the investigation said that the young woman did not appear to be intoxicated and that she told some people at the party that she was 18 years old, according to the report. She also indicated that the woman told her friends that night that she had consensual sex with at least two men at the party before the alleged assault.

Araiza, who attended San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo High, was SDSU’s most recognizable player during a school-record 12-2 season that was ranked 25th in the final AP Top 25 poll. He routinely turned the field around with his amazing punting and set an NCAA record with a 51.19-yard average. He won the Ray Guy Award and was a first-team AP All-American.
