George Santos Got Botox From Shady Penile Implant Doctor

In one of the funniest yet predictable stories of 2023, Thursday, the world learned this shady GOP congressman/prolific con artist George Santos used campaign contributions to pay for OnlyFans subscriptions, Botox, Sephora products and much more that campaign funds should not be used for. Shortly after this news was published, Santos announced that he would not run againwhich is probably wise with the prison of it all.

A few hours after the announcement of this news, the journalist Marisa Kabas published an article on his Substack page about the doctor who performed the Botox injections on Santos. Turns out Santos’ Botox guy is almost as shady as him. Almost.

After digging into Report of the House Ethics Committee on Santos’ questionable campaign contribution spending (what is a crazy week at Congress!), Kabas learned that a company named Mirza Aesthetics was paid to perform the injections and that Mirza Aesthetics is owned and operated by Dr. Muhammad Mirza. Kabas then dug in.

She writes:

Mirza’s bio shows no reference to dermatology or aesthetic certification of any kind, but he has absolutely performed these procedures. In 2019, he sued four Yelp reviewers who claimed they received his Botox services and gave him a one-star rating. Critics accused him of “pre-loading Botox into syringes so he could dilute it, injecting people in shady places, pushing more product on patients, and generally being a crook.”

Similar to its cardiovascular activity, patients reported that its Botox activity was primarily mobile. He “worked with gym bags in a back storage room that was basic and dirty. It was like we were filming a porno,” one reviewer wrote.

Additionally, Dr. Mirza appears to have had his medical license suspended in 2021 for performing inappropriate penis and breast enhancements.

NJ.com reports:

State authorities say he traveled to dozens of rented locations across New Jersey and neighboring states to perform “invasive cosmetic procedures with inadequate formal training and little regard for health and safety.” safety of its patients,” Acting State Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck announced Tuesday.

The doctor was seeing up to 30 patients a day in “makeshift spaces with poor protocols for maintaining medical records, monitoring patients, and storing medical supplies, including products requiring refrigeration and monitoring.” strict temperature control,” Bruck added… In one case, he used an injectable filler as part of a non-surgical penile enhancement procedure that caused permanent harm to a patient who suffered complications requiring his hospitalization, where he underwent two emergency surgeries, says the attorney general’s office.

Best of all, Habas reports that earlier this year, “Mirza pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud in New Jersey for participating in ‘a scheme to to bill Amtrak’s health care plan for fraudulent claims for services that were either never provided or were medically unnecessary.

It’s a bit poetic that George Santos was able to find the George Santos of doctors to perform his Botox injections, if they were even Botox injections and not, you know, something else we wouldn’t want to see a guy in a van apparently carrying his products in sports bags.
