But there was still no respite, it continued in quick succession. A final of 104 from Ben Robb drew New Zealand level, and within 15 darts the New Zealanders confirmed the break. This gave them the lead for the first time in this match. Schindler and Clemens kept the ball and within 16 darts managed to level the match at 3-3 and send the match to the decider.

Here it was New Zealand who had the first pitch. A timely 180 from Clemens in the second innings allowed Germany to play the match from the front and it was also the German Giant who cleared 124 in the fourth innings to win the match.
