podcast producer shine+ (a portmanteau of “cool” and “listen”) launched Tuesday with two initial shows, part of a broader slate of scripted shows it plans to launch in the coming weeks.

The first original series includes “Can’t Relax,” aimed at young adults, about a relaxation app that secretly plants killer messages in the brains of its teenage listeners. The supernatural thriller features Olivia Trujillo (“For All Mankind”), Andre Robinson (“Cheaper by the Dozen”) and Patrick Labyorteaux (“NCIS”).

The other show is the fantasy adventure “League of Wonder,” which follows a Yorkshire terrier who teams up with a ragtag group of animal heroes to rescue Dorothy Gale and a pair of magic slippers. The show stars Donovan Patton (“Blue’s Clues”), Makgotso M (“The Woman King”), Eric Petersen (“Kevin Can F**k Himself”) and Robbie Jarvis (“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” ).

“We are so proud of the growing team of incredible actors from both Hollywood and abroad who are lending their voices and passion to our scripted podcasts,” Glisten+ founders Sheila Stapanek and Adam Jay Epstein said in a statement.

Among other upcoming entries, Glisten+ has teamed up with Brotherwise Games, the company behind the Boss Monster board game, to create the scripted podcast series “Boss Monster Adventures,” scheduled for release on November 6.

“We believe the story Glisten+ has created will delight listeners, and we’re excited to see what future adventures might be in store for our characters,” Chris O’Neal, CEO of Brotherwise Games, said in a statement.

Eight additional full series Glisten+ plans to launch in the coming months, including horror series “The Dispossessed” (October 2023), R-rated comedy “Best Party Ever” (December 2023), family adventure “American Leprechaun ” (January 2024), toddler podcast “Listen Pup” (February 2024), comedy adventure “The Figgets” (March 2024), horror series “Foster” (April 2024), romantic drama “Lasting” (May 2024) and superhero series “Backbeat” (June 2024).
