Government prevents TAP CEO from presenting company profits – Politics

The executive president of TAP, Christine Ourmières-Widener, was prevented by the Government from showing the company’s profits, advances the SIC Notícias.

The manager, who remains in office until the end of the month, wanted to hold a press conference, however the Ministry of Finance did not authorize it.

Thus, the results will be known in writing and in a videoconference with only investors and analysts, which will take place on Tuesday.

According to SIC, it was the Ministry of Finance that demanded that the data be disclosed in writing, not confirming the information that the executive president requested a press conference for the presentation of results.
