Big opening, big closing. Before most of the public can read Cassie’s explosive 35-page civil lawsuit against his famous ex-partner, Diddy, the matter is over. Friday November 17 The New York Times revealed that the lawsuit, in which Cassie accused Diddy of rape, ongoing physical abuse and even blow up Kid Cudi’s carhas been ruler.

Because of how quickly the two came to an agreement, people are wondering how much money Diddy settled with Cassie. Unfortunately, financial details are not known at this time. Due to the claims in the lawsuit, it would be safe to assume that both parties signed a nondisclosure agreement, preventing them from sharing the total number. In court documents, Cassie initially sought $30 million in punitive damages in the lawsuit.

However, Cassie and Diddy shared a statement when announcing their settlement. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms over which I have some level of control,” Cassie said, according to THE New York Times. “I want to thank my family, fans and attorneys for their continued support.”

Diddy followed up with his own statement, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
