After the debacle against Leverkusen, Bayern are under enormous pressure. Thomas Tuchel is especially needed now. Another defeat in the Champions League duel against Lazio Rome on Wednesday would significantly increase the headwind.

“He is already reeling”: that is Bayern's plan in the face of a possible departure of Tuchel

According to Bild newspaper's head of football, Christian Falk, Bayern's leaders could pull the string in the event of a defeat in the premier class: “Jan-Christian Dreesen has already supported it. Of course you want to have some peace and quiet before this important match. But if that goes wrong, it wobbles a lot. “He is already reeling.”

According to “Sky”, Bayern's directors want to finish the current season with Thomas Tuchel. At least that was the situation after Leverkusen went bankrupt. But one thing is also clear: a mistake or elimination in the Champions League would significantly worsen the situation.

If Tuchel has to leave sooner, Flick could return

The interesting thing is that, as Falk claims to have learned, a specific name is already circulating on Säbener Straße in case Tuchel is released early:

“I have already been told at the club that one or two officials could imagine bringing Hansi Flick back.”

The triple coach continues to enjoy an excellent reputation in Munich and left the champions record in 2021 due to the current dispute with former sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

In addition to Flick, there are other coaches currently looking for a new club. According to information from “Bild”, José Mourinho very well imagines a commitment to Munich.

According to Falk, there are also other names on the market: “There are other candidates as well. Oliver Glasner would be German speaking. Antonio Conte is on the market. Joachim Löw has also been waiting for a new job for a long time. There are a few names currently available. “That, of course, is bad luck for Tuchel,” said the Bayern insider.
