Luxembourg summons 24 players for matches against Portugal and Slovakia

The coach of Luxembourg, Luc Holtz, released the list of 24 footballers called up for the games with Portugal and Slovakia, which mark the start of the qualifying phase for the 2024 European Championship.

Luxembourg faces Slovakia in the first round of Group J qualifying, on March 23, in Trnava, receiving the Portuguese team three days later, on March 26, at the Estádio do Luxemburgo.

Portugal first faces Liechtenstein, on March 23, at the José Alvalade stadium, in Lisbon, in the debut in Group J qualifying for the 2024 European Championship, which also includes the teams from Iceland and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The match at Sporting’s venue will also mark the debut of Spanish coach Roberto Martínez as Portuguese coach, after succeeding Fernando Santos in January.
