According to RTL, 72-year-old actor Heinz Hoenig had to leave the jungle camp due to the extreme weather conditions in Australia.

It wasn't his decision, it was the jungle camp doctors' decision. According to reports, they conducted a brief evacuation operation and secretly brought “Das Boot” star Heinz Hoenig to his family at the “Imperial Hotel” in Surfers Paradise through the back entrance of the camp.

Therefore, Heinz Hoenig will receive his full salary despite being free

As reported by bild.de, the contract of the participants of the jungle camp stipulates that the participants who left the camp earlier will lose part of their salary. This happened, for example, to Cora Schumacher, who left the camp after only three days for health reasons.

Hoenig's case, however, has an important difference. “He didn't want to move out at all, but the doctors of the production company took him out of the camp,” reports BILD. This fact should allow him to receive the full fee.

Heinz Hoenig should receive his full salary, but in installments

However, the fee is not paid all at once, but in parts. 20 per cent is paid on signing, with an additional 20 per cent on arrival in Australia. Another 25 percent is paid out in the event of a regular viewer vote or a medical evacuation.

According to BILD, Hoenig will receive the remaining 35 percent of the fee after the show for fulfilling an exclusivity agreement with RTL. This means that in the first two weeks after the camp, he must give interviews exclusively to RTL and make up to ten of them, plus three TV appearances in the RTL format.

According to bild.de, fees for jungle campers can range between 40,000 and 250,000 euros. Heinz Hoenig will receive around 150,000 euros. The actor can put this money to good use as he recently went through personal bankruptcy.

There was some exciting talk at the jungle camp on Tuesday night: Kim Virginia revealed that she would like to sleep with Oliver Pocher.
