After the insolvent fashion chain Hallhuber failed to find an investor, the brand rights and domains are now being auctioned. This means that the fashion house will probably disappear from the market for good.

After the failure of the restructuring, the end of the German fashion chain Hallhuber is sealed. The recovery of German deposits Ostermayer & Dr. Gold GbR has announced the auction of the rights and domains of the Hallhuber brand, as “Fashion United” has learned.

The auction, in which the intellectual property of the Hallhuber brand will be sold, is scheduled for February 22. The initial price for the trademark rights to Hallhuber and the sub-brand Donna Hallhuber is 500,000 euros. The auction of the 28 domains of Hallhuber GmbH starts with a starting price of 14,000 euros.

Hallhuber filed for bankruptcy for the second time in May 2023

Norbert Steinke, former CEO of Hallhuber, draws attention in a post on LinkedIn to the loss of important data. Sketches, sample pieces, and size charts are no longer accessible. Customer data is also missing.

Hallhuber GmbH had already gone through insolvency proceedings in 2021 and had to declare bankruptcy again in May 2023. All branches and the online store were closed at the end of October last year. The auction of brand rights and domains will now seal the definitive disappearance of the once renowned fashion chain.
