Oasis ‘should never have broken up’, Liam Gallagher said

Every once in a while, some kind of drama involving Oasis and their siblings. Liam and Noel Gallagher appears. The latest is courtesy of Noel, who recently blamed Liam for missing an Oasis reunion. Now, Liam is responding.

In a recent appearance on the talkSPORT radio show white and jordan, Noel said in part: “Well, I put it there. He won’t call… I mean, he should call me, because he’s always talking about it. You would have thought by now that he would have some kind of plan. You know, he should… if he has a plan, he should get someone to… he doesn’t have to talk to me. He doesn’t talk to me, he’s a coward. So he should have some of his people, his agent, call my people and say, ‘Look, this is what we’re thinking.’ And then we’ll have a conversation about it. Until then, it’s being a bit disingenuous.”

On Twitter today, Liam wrote: “I don’t wish AIDS on people. I show up and play MUSIC for the people of MANCHESTER who just had a terrorist attack while you sit in your gloomy champagne and have the audacity to call me COWARD.” He added: “He’s full of shit, he HATES Oasis fans, he doesn’t care if they buy his records.”

As NME gradesthe AIDS comment refers to a time in the mid-90s when the rivalry between Oasis and Blur was raging and Noel wished AIDS on the members of Blur.

Hours later, in response to a fan, Liam wrote: “Listen I wake up to him giving me shit in the press, he was doing it at oasis so I remind people how disgusting it is to them. the rules you don’t like F*CK OFF”. One user responded to that: “So why do you keep saying Oasis is happening when you clearly know it isn’t? I will not go to shit because I love your shit and I will continue to buy. Liam replied: “I don’t keep saying it’s happening, I said it once when I was asked, I say I’m ready, born, ready, I’m ready, now we never should have been apart, that’s what I say.”
