Former Texans safety Jonathan Owens signed his contract with the Packers earlier this week, with Olympic superstar wife Simone Biles by his side.

Biles posted a photo on Twitter with Owens at Lambeau Field and another of him signing his contract with the team, while asking his followers on social media for any recommendations in his new city.

The kicker’s wife of a lifetime. mason crosby responded to Biles by hinting that the team had moved on from her husband, who is a free agent this offseason after 16 years in Green Bay.

“It’s sad that we miss you, we just finished a 16 year career with the team…with that being said…I have a few things I need to share with you. Small town with a big heart and some AMAZING shops and restaurants. We loved our time there and so will you! Let’s talk about coats, boots, custom packaging equipment…” tweeted to Biles.

Crosby joins Packers veterans Marcedes Lewis and Adrian Amos so remarkableveterans who remain free agents. General manager Brian Gutekunst said earlier this month that the team would “never close the door” on bringing Crosby back, even after using a sixth-round pick on Anders Carlson from Auburn in the April NFL draft. The Packers also passed on other veterans such as receiver Randall Cobb and, of course, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was traded to the Jets.
