As reported by several British media, Prince Harry has arrived in London. There is no official confirmation from the palace. But a TV station is releasing a photo which is said to show Harry on his way to visit his sick father.

pPrince Harry is said to have arrived in Britain after his father, King Charles, was diagnosed with cancer, according to British media. As reported by The Sun, among others, Harry landed at London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Daily Mail, he was on board a British Airways flight. The pictures showed black SUVs with a police escort on the airport grounds. At first, no official confirmation was received.

The photos, which were live-blogged by Sky News late at night, are meant to confirm Prince Harry's arrival. They show the king's youngest son in the back seat of the car. According to Sky News, the photos were taken of Harry on his way to the royal residence, Clarence House.

The palace surprisingly announced on Monday night that the 75-year-old monarch is suffering from cancer. He is said to have personally delivered the news to his sons William and Harry and his siblings.

Harry and his father Charles' relationship with other royal relatives is believed to be strained. The king's younger son and his wife Duchess Meghan (42) left the inner circle of the royal family four years ago. They now live in the US state of California with their two children, Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2).

According to information from DPA on Monday, Harry wanted to travel to Great Britain “in the coming days” to be by his father's side. This now seems to have come to light more quickly than first thought.
