The public prosecutor who advertises brands on social networks, such as the cm reported, this Thursday broke the silence about the case on Facebook. Francisco Guedes underlines that he was not paid for the products he published on the platform and that he did not publish them as a proxy.

“In my professional life, I have always been guided by the most sobriety, commitment, dedication to the public cause, without private life affecting my obligations as a Public Prosecutor”, can be read in the publication.

The magistrate explains that in 2021 he signed up for an ‘online’ platform that allows subscribers to try samples of recent products on the market for free. The objective would be to test them and share the experience on social networks. “The samples are free and of insignificant value”, he stressed.

“I did not receive any monetary amount for the artistic and technical production of the posts I made about the commercial samples. I never demanded or asked for it”, he wrote.

Francisco Guedes became a member of the Superior Council of Magistrates of the Public Ministry (CSMMP) in the previous term. Upon learning of the news released by the cmthe Superior Council of Magistrates of the Public Prosecution opened an investigation process to the magistrate.
