Rui Nabeiro, founder of the Delta group, hospitalized “with a very poor prognosis”

Rui Nabeiro, the founder of the Delta group, is hospitalized due to a respiratory illness, reports CNN Portugal.

According to that television, the 91-year-old businessman’s family recognizes the “seriousness of the situation”.

“We would like you to know from the family that our grandfather and founder of the group is hospitalized with a poor prognosis, due to respiratory disease”, can be read in a message sent to employees on Saturday, by Rui Miguel Nabeiro, grandson of the businessman, who leads currently the group.

“All efforts for his recovery are being made by the excellent medical team that is monitoring him, despite the seriousness of the situation, we want to continue to have faith”, he continued.

Rui Nabeiro was born on March 28, 1931 in Campo Maior, Alentejo.
