Russ Victim Of Home Burglary, Stole Car & Five Guns

Russ, Uproxx cover star was allegedly the victim of a home burglary, according to a report filed with the Georgia Police Department in Roswell and obtained by TMZ. They say he called the police station around 1 a.m. Friday morning, after spotting the thieves using radar.

It was reported that they stole five guns, including “a pair of Glock 19s, a CZ Scorpion, and two Walther handguns.” A pair of Chanel handbags were also taken, including a pink one that was valued at $15,000 and a black one worth $9,000. Finally, they also left with a 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG that belonged to Russ’ girlfriend.

By the time police arrived, they discovered the front door was open and the burglars had shaken the premises looking for items to take. They entered the property around 10.15pm on Thursday, when at least two of them used the basement door to gain entry. The group then left with suitcases and bags around midnight.

Fortunately, Russ was not home at the time and no one was injured. While the thieves are still at large, the musician was able to communicate with police via FaceTime — after discovering his house had been broken into.

Based on the footage, police haven’t identified much about the suspects, but hopefully Russian will soon be able to get his things back.
