Three of the four conference finals spots are already set. The Heat held off the Knicks to become the second No. 8 seed, joining the 1999 Knicks, to reach the third round. They will face the winner of Sunday’s Game 7 between the Celtics and the 76ers. That series will begin on Wednesday.

In the Western Conference, the Lakers eliminated the defending champion Warriors and will now face the Nuggets. That series will begin Tuesday in Denver. The Lakers matched the Heat by becoming the first two play-in teams to reach the conference finals.
