No. 18 Colorado got the scoring going early in Saturday night’s rivalry game against Colorado State and was a son of coach Deion Sanders right in the center of the action.

No, we’re not talking about quarterback Shedeur Sanders. It was defensive back Shilo who put the Buffaloes on the board with an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown following an errant throw by Rams quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi.

Sanders reached midfield and took a page from his father’s book, taking a brief high step before realizing he actually had to get on his horse and run toward the end zone.

The Buffaloes continue to be must-watch TV under Deion Sanders as Colorado looks to move to 3-0 on the season Saturday night before the schedule gets much tougher heading into Pac-12 play.

Colorado is more than a three-point favorite on Saturday, but it heads to Oregon next Saturday and hosts USC on the final weekend of September.
