QCostumes, props and sets from Netflix's hit series 'The Crown' have sold at auction in Britain for tens of thousands of pounds. Princess Diana's green jaguar found a buyer at Bonhams auction house in London on Wednesday for 70,000 pounds (82,000 euros).

A gold-adorned carriage sold at auction for €66,000, a replica coronation throne for €30,000 and Queen Elizabeth II's coronation dress – worn by actress Claire Foy – for around €22,500.

However, the reconstructed facade of 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister, fell well short of the estimated value. The background cost only about 11,7000 euros, the estimated value was double or triple.

Proceeds will be used to support the filmmakers' scholarship program. Elaborate costumes, pieces of furniture, specially made paintings and other items were also put up for auction.
