After the final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, the team of world star Karim Benzema (36), there was a scandal probably never seen before in football.

Al-Ittihad fell 4-1, with Benzema's only goal scored by Abderrazak Hamdallah (33) in the 21st minute to make it 1-1. After the final whistle, the Moroccan was also involved in the scandal of the evening.

Scandal in the final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup: a spectator hits the players with a whip

When Hamdallah entered the locker room after the game, he turned toward the dugout-level stands and got into a fight with an apparently unfriendly fan.

The situation worsened when the forward sprayed the fan with water from his bottle. The bystander responded by pulling out a whip and hitting Hamdallah several times.

Other spectators pushed the fan back. Benzema's teammate tried to attack the fan, but his teammates stopped him.

It was unclear whether the viewer was a frustrated supporter of Al-Ittihad or a provocative supporter of Al-Hilal.

Brother criticizes the position of former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema

The 2022 Ballon d'Or winner, Karim Benzema, also got into trouble after Headlines. In the final, the superstar surprisingly played on the left wing, which greatly upset her brother. She criticized the coach and said: “Now you are putting Karim on the left? This is a crime! Has no sense. You have to respect football.”

Benzema has been part of the Al-Ittihad team since the summer of 2023 and has not lived up to expectations so far. The superstar scored 13 goals in 28 games and has not had a quiet time at his new club so far. For example, the star forward was pulled from training camp in January because he skipped several training sessions.
