Swedish House Mafia share ‘See The Light’ with Fridayy

swedish house mafia is back, and the EDM powerhouse has a bright outlook for the future. The trio has teamed up with R&B newcomer Friday for “See The Light,” which arrives as part of EA Sports’ Formula 1 soundtrack album.

The song features a simple, throbbing repetition of piano notes, while Fridayy graces the track with his smooth vocals.

“I know / One day I will see the light”, Fridayy repeats at all times. On the bridge, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes more visible, as Fridayy sings “Goodnight / Dawn Comes”.

Swedish House Mafia first performed the song at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in March. The trio will perform this Saturday May 27th in an exclusive and intimate fan show at E1 in London. On Sunday they will perform at Creamfields South on the main stage.

Fans are full of anticipation as their placement on the Formula 1 soundtrack album, as well as upcoming performances, are ushering in a new era for Swedish House Mafia.

“We miss our UK family and can’t wait to return to celebrate the release and the new chapter of what’s to come,” the group said in a statement.
