Taylor Swift fan turned security guard to watch ‘Eras ​​Tour’

Swifties are some of the most dedicated fan bases. But one Taylor Swift fan went to extremes to see their favorite live in concert.

Like many Swift fans, Nashville Unfortunately, resident Davis Perrigo was unable to secure tickets for Swift’s eras tour due to a Failed Ticketmaster presale. So instead, he managed to get a job at Nissan Stadium as a security guard shortly before Swift stopped in Nashville on May 5, 6 and 7.

“Friday night I was next to the stage, and then Saturday night I had an almost better view,” Perrigo said in an interview with the Nashville news station. NewsChannel 5.

Perrigo was unable to record any of the shows due to venue policy, however some fans in the audience recorded Perrigo as he was seen singing every word.

Some of the clips have since gone viral on TikTok, with Perrigo even sharing some of the clips with his coworkers.

“I showed someone at work, like, ‘Hey, this video got 10,000 views,’ and then that night, it hit 1 million. I was like, ‘My God, this is out of control,’ Perrigo said.

While many of the security guards at the venue maintained a more stoic demeanor, members of Swift’s security team noted Perrigo’s vitality.

“I actually got chastised by Taylor’s safety, saying he was going too hard and needed to slow down a bit,” Perrigo said.
