Scott Swift allegedly punched a paparazzi when he approached his daughter after a concert in Sydney in late February. He no longer has to fear accusations.

DAmerican singer Taylor Swift's father Scott Swift is avoiding charges after allegedly slapping a paparazzi. Judicial authorities in the Australian state of New South Wales have now confirmed they will no longer investigate the seventy-one-year-old. Photographer Ben McDonald accused Swift of punching her in the face during her Erase tour when he approached the singer after her final performance in Sydney in late February.

At the time, a spokesperson for the 34-year-old Grammy winner referred to the “aggression” of the two paparazzi. The photographer, on the other hand, chronicled Swift's father's sudden outburst.

The singer (“Shake It Off”) performed seven times in Australia in front of more than 600,000 fans. Meanwhile, his father, Scott, surprised the crowd with sandwiches, fruit and wristbands that allowed access to the VIP area.
