“The value of the merchandise should be around 28 euros,” the woman later wrote on Facebook. She used the “Too Good to Use” app to get the discount. In the app, businesses offer their food at greatly reduced prices shortly before closing.

“Crazy,” commented one user. “Since when is McDonald's involved?”

McDonald's Group suffers from falling demand in the Middle East

A McDonald's spokesperson confirmed that eight McCafés in Berlin are currently offering their dishes on a trial basis on the app. There are no plans for sister chain McDonald's to join.
