He's back: Famke the dog

In mid-March, Famke, a cocker spaniel mix, jumped off a ship on the Mosel River. Twelve days later, the dog was spotted by visitors to the campsite on one of the islands.
HThe woman Famke jumped off her owners' boat on the Moselle, disappeared for a long time without a trace – and was finally discovered twelve days later on an island. Campsite visitors learned of the animal on Wednesday, which was opposite them on an island near Zell an der Mosel, police said.
The fire department saved the dog. The cocker spaniel mix is in good condition. Until the owners pick up the dog, it will remain in the care of the fire department.
Famke, 15, jumped into the water between Sankt Aldegund (Cochem-Zell district) and Wintrich (Bernkastel-Wittlich district) in Rhineland-Palatinate on March 15. A poster was used to search for him.
It read, among other things: “Despite his age he is still fit so he could have made it ashore. He may have been frightened after the experience.
