Nine people were injured, some of them seriously, in a car accident in Singen on Saturday evening. Apparently, the young driver had given way to another – he was probably driving too fast.

bNine people were injured, five of them seriously, in a collision between two cars in Singen (Konstanz district). As the police reported on Saturday, the 19-year-old driver allegedly gave way to the 57-year-old while turning at the intersection. The 57-year-old was allegedly speeding.

According to the information, the 19-year-old was traveling with four and the 57-year-old with three passengers. Some passengers were trapped and had to be freed from their vehicles. The rescue helicopter brought two seriously injured people to the clinics. Three more severely and four lightly injured people were taken to hospitals by ambulance.

According to the police, the two cars were damaged in a total value of approximately 86,000 euros. The State Prosecutor's Office ordered an expert to investigate the accident.
