After the Walkmen played a few shows before their tour, Peter Matthew Bauer released a statement describing his joy at being reunited with his bandmates. “The last few weeks have been a real explosion. Honestly, when we decided to get together again to play these shows, we didn’t even know if anyone would come. It’s been an incredible joy to see all these people there, playing these shows, meeting old friends from all over the world,” Bauer said.
