Three people were injured, some seriously, in a shooting at a gas station in Merseburg, Saxony-Anhalt. The suspect was quickly caught and temporarily arrested, Halle police said late Wednesday.
The suspect reportedly fired several shots during the altercation. One man was seriously injured.
According to information, the incident took place on Wednesday evening. There was no connection with the European Football Championship, the police said in a statement.
Forensic scientists found evidence at the scene. A background investigation was pending.
