Tim Burton remained silent on Beetlejuice/Lauren Boebert scandalbut at least we know what he’s thinking Nicolas Cage’s appearance in The flash.

In an interview with the British Film Institutewe asked the director if he regretted Life of Superman, his abandoned superhero film starring Cage as the Man of Steel. “No, I have no regrets. I will say this: when you work on a project for so long and it doesn’t come to fruition, it affects you for the rest of your life. Because things excite you, and everything is an unknown journey, and it wasn’t here yet. But it’s one of those experiences that never leaves you, just a little bit. Burton then discussed the disturbing sight of smooth-faced Cage fighting a digital spider in The flash.

“But it also touches on another AI problem, and that’s why I think I’m done with the studio. They can take what you’ve done, Batman or whatever, and twist it culturally, or whatever you want to call it. Even if you are a slave to Disney or Warner Brothers, they can do whatever they want. So, in my last years of life, I am in silent rebellion against all of this.

Looks like someone won’t another live-action remake for Disney.
