Donald Trump says a lot of questionable things, but, as Blur once sang, no matter how low the bar, there’s always a place to go. Last October, Paul Pelosi, the husband of Nancy Pelosi, then Speaker of the House of Representatives, was violently attacked by an intruder at his home. The seriousness of the situation – the fact that an 82-year-old man was beaten with a hammer and nearly died – did not stop the Trump team from make jokes. Nearly a year later, the former president is still there.
Trump mocks Nancy Pelosi, whose husband was attacked by deranged MAGA: ‘How’s her husband, does anyone know?’

During a wild speech in Anaheim, Calif., on Friday, Trump took a moment to criticize someone who isn’t even in office anymore.
“We will stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi, who ruined San Francisco,” he promised the crowd. Then he smiled like a Cheshire cat and said: “How is her husband, does anyone know?”
The crowd ate it up – “it”, again, is a joke about an elderly person who had surgery for a fractured skull, perpetrated by one of his fans.
Perhaps sensing his fans loved jokes about a violent attack, he doubled down. “And she’s against building a wall on our border, even though she has one around her house – which obviously hasn’t done a very good job,” he scoffed.
Trump’s comments were widely condemned, but that likely won’t stop him from making similar comments in the future, nor his supporters from encouraging them.
On a much lighter and more bizarre note, Trump – whose brain is definitely not broken – launched into a bizarre tirade about California’s non-existent water restrictions, which he says makes wealthy Beverly Hills residents stink. We can’t make all this up and, besides, who would want to?
