The rapper performed “Uproar” for Boulder fans before the showdown between Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.

The hottest event on campus this year there is any game with “Coach Prime” Deion Sanders and his University of Colorado Buffaloes, and on Saturday little wayne was in Boulder to perform a concert before the team’s home game against Colorado State.

Lil Wayne appeared on Fox Sports’ Big Noon Kickoff to perform his Tha Carter V track “Uproar” for Colorado fans, an appropriate choice given the song’s lyrics, “Aimin’ at your head like a buffalo.”

Weezy, a longtime supporter and fan of Coach Prime, received an honorary “Tunechi” t-shirt from Sanders himself after the performance. The rapper also chatted with the Big Noon Kickoff panel, including former NFL pros Mark Ingram and Rob Gronkowski, about how the former dual-sport legend turned the Colorado team into a can’t-miss powerhouse.

“If you know Prime, he puts his heart and soul into everything, and the more he focuses on it, it’s over. He focused on training and he’s done,” Lil Wayne said. “What do I expect? The same thing everyone expects: it’s personal.”
