Poland has fully returned to Europe. This makes a real difference and changes a huge amount for us. Such a meeting probably would not have taken place if the PiS party had won the elections. Convergence can be found on many important issues – the environment, the rule of law, institutional reforms. And Poland can now play a leading role where there were previously blockades.
