On Sunday, mostly sunny and dry weather will remain from southern Baden to Lower Bavaria. In the north, the weather is cloudy, sometimes there is a little rain or sleet. Snowfall is expected in the mountains.

Maximum temperatures are between zero and six degrees, with slight permafrost in higher mountainous areas. In the south, a partly weak, otherwise moderate wind blows, and in the northeast also a fresh westerly wind. The DWD is predicting severe storm surges or squalls along the coast and higher mountain areas.

On Monday night, the weather will be partly cloudy to very cloudy. Meteorologists expect rain, sleet or snow. It cools down to plus two to minus four degrees, in higher mountains and the Alps to minus eight degrees. Attention: There is a risk of slippery surfaces.

DWD warns that slippery or freezing wet weather due to snow can be expected in mountainous areas and during heavy showers and generally at night.
